In Memory of Our Founder, Dr. Pedro Posos Ponce
Dr. Pedro Posos Ponce (†) 1964-2023, founding partner and main pillar of "Conviviendo con la Naturaleza", we hereby remember his brilliant academic and professional trajectory:
- Ingeniero Agrónomo por la Universidad de Guadalajara (1986 – 1990 Zapopan, Jalisco).
- Maestro en Ciencias en Parasitología Agrícola por la Universidad Autónoma Agraria Antonio Narro (1991 – 1993 Saltillo, Coahuila).
- Doctor en Ciencias en Agrobiotecnología del Instituto Tecnológico Agropecuario No. 26 (2000 – 2005 Tlajomulco, Jalisco).
Dr. Posos was an outstanding Professor-Researcher at the University of Guadalajara's Center for Biological and Agricultural Sciences (CUCBA) with over thirty years of experience in biological effectiveness studies of pesticides in accordance with current regulations. He contributed to scientific knowledge with numerous articles and eight specialized books on insecticides and agricultural pests, becoming a reference in the industry.
He supervised over 38 Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral theses, guiding students toward academic and scientific success. He actively participated in courses, conferences, and diplomas, demonstrating his commitment to the growth and sharing of knowledge.
His memory will remain in the academic and agricultural community, inspiring future generations to contribute to the advancement of science and agriculture.
